Our Story
Our Story:
We are Aureoboros, an all-girls rookie robotics team from Fremont, California, composed of passionate and motivated students from middle and high school.
Our journey began with the shared vision of diving into the world of robotics and actively championing the expansion of STEM education throughout the greater Bay Area community.
Our current focus is on the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) program, where we are rapidly learning and applying skills in hardware design, software programming, and Computer-Aided Design (CAD). We collaborate to design, build, and program a functional robot capable of tackling the season's designated challenges.
Our team's mission is two-fold: to develop a high-performing robot through dedication and excellence, and critically, to serve as a beacon for STEM Empowerment. We strive to inspire and connect with other students, especially young girls, by sharing our knowledge, resources, and unwavering enthusiasm for science and engineering.

What's In a Name
Apparently many things.
The first half, stemming from Aurora Borealis, reflects the beauty, femininity, and wonder of the northern lights. More than just a stunning natural phenomenon, the aurora has deep scientific roots in electromagnetism, charged particles, and light—all forces that mirror the precision and creativity we bring to robotics.

The second half, from Ouroboros, is the ancient symbol of a serpent encircling the world and consuming its own tail. Across cultures, it represents cycles, renewal, and the unending methods of nature. For us, it symbolizes our team’s infinite perseverance, the drive to improve, learn, and evolve—again and again.
TLDR; Our name means everything.
